Vietjet Launches Direct Flights from Kolkata and Ahmedabad to Bangkok Starting at Just ₹1

August 4, 2025 — In an exciting development for travelers, Vietjet Thailand has announced the launch of two new direct routes connecting Kolkata and Ahmedabad to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport. This expansion marks the airline’s third and fourth direct connections between India and Thailand, underscoring its commitment to enhancing travel accessibility and affordability.

The Kolkata-Bangkok route will commence on November 17, 2025, with flight VZ771 departing Kolkata at 00:20 and arriving in Bangkok at 04:25. The return flight, VZ770, will leave Bangkok at 21:55 and reach Kolkata at 23:20. This service will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, catering to the growing demand for tourism, business, and cultural exchanges.

Following closely, the Ahmedabad-Bangkok service will begin on December 4, 2025. Flight VZ751 will take off from Ahmedabad at 23:55, landing in Bangkok at 05:35 the next day. The return flight, VZ750, will depart Bangkok at 19:40, arriving back in Ahmedabad at 22:55. Similar to the Kolkata route, this service will also operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

To celebrate these new routes, Vietjet is offering a limited-time promotion dubbed “Vietjet’s New Routes – Takeoff to Bangkok from ₹1.” Passengers can book tickets starting at just ₹1 (excluding taxes and fees) from July 31 to August 5, 2025, for travel between November 17, 2025, and March 28, 2026 for the Kolkata route, and December 4, 2025, to March 28, 2026 for the Ahmedabad route.
