Deere & Company Announces Strategic Leadership Changes to Drive Innovation and Customer Value
Moline, IL — In a significant move aimed at enhancing its commitment to intelligent and connected products, Deere & Company has unveiled key leadership changes within its Worldwide Agriculture & Turf Division. Effective November 3, Deanna Kovar will step into the role of President, overseeing Production and Precision Agriculture, as well as the Americas and Australia markets.
Kovar, who previously led the Small Ag & Turf business, will now be responsible for major equipment and technology solutions, including large tractors and harvesting equipment. Her appointment signals Deere’s focus on advancing its strategy to deliver innovative solutions that enhance customer economic value.
“Deanna’s extensive experience and leadership in the agricultural sector make her the ideal candidate to drive our production-scale initiatives,” said John May, Chairman and CEO of Deere & Company. “Her vision aligns perfectly with our goal of improving customer success through innovation.”
Taking the reins from Kovar is Justin Rose, who will now serve as President of the Worldwide Agriculture & Turf Division: Small Agriculture and Turf. Rose, who previously held the position of president of Lifecycle Solutions, Supply Management, and Customer Success, will focus on equipment tailored for small agricultural and turf customers across Europe, Africa, and Asia.
“Justin’s background in customer success and supply management will be invaluable as we continue to support our small agricultural and turf customers,” May added.
In a further reshuffle, Cory Reed has been appointed President of Lifecycle Solutions, Supply Management, and Customer Success. Reed will oversee Deere’s global aftermarket and customer support initiatives, ensuring that the company delivers exceptional value and support to its customers worldwide. He previously led the Production and Precision Ag business.
These leadership changes come at a pivotal time for Deere & Company as it seeks to enhance its product offerings and customer engagement in an increasingly competitive market. The company is committed to building a purpose-driven leadership team focused on innovation and customer success.
“We’re focused on building an experienced, purpose-driven leadership team dedicated to improving our customers’ success,” May reiterated. “Each of these leaders brings extensive expertise, a shared vision for innovation, and a deep commitment to delivering value to our customers worldwide.”
As Deere & Company continues to evolve, these strategic appointments are expected to play a crucial role in shaping the future of agriculture and turf management, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements in the industry.
