House Leader Claims Trump Acted as FBI ‘Informant’ on Epstein

Trump Allegedly Linked as ‘FBI Informant’ in Epstein Case, Claims GOP Leader Mike Johnson

Trump’s Alleged Role as FBI Informant in Epstein Case Sparks Controversy

In a surprising revelation, senior Republican Mike Johnson has claimed that former President Donald Trump acted as an “FBI informant” in the investigation surrounding convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Speaking to CNN, Johnson asserted that Trump has been “misrepresented” amid ongoing debates about the release of Epstein-related files.

The controversy has intensified as it has been over five months since Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi stated that the Epstein files were awaiting release. Shortly thereafter, the Department of Justice (DOJ) declared it would not disclose any further documents, claiming that no “client list” exists. However, the Trump administration later reversed its stance, announcing plans to release all FBI files, including grand jury testimonies.

“It’s a hoax that’s been built up way beyond proportion,” Trump stated, criticizing former FBI Director James Comey, former Attorney General Merrick Garland, and President Joe Biden for their roles in the investigation. He emphasized that if any damaging information existed, it would have been used against him during elections.

Johnson defended Trump, explaining, “What Trump is referring to is the hoax that the Democrats are using to try to attack him.” He added that Trump is horrified by Epstein’s actions and had previously expelled him from Mar-a-Lago upon learning of the allegations. “He was an FBI informant to try to take this stuff down,” Johnson claimed.

The discourse surrounding Epstein has gained momentum, with GOP Rep. Thomas Massie and Democrat Ro Khanna recently holding a press conference alongside Epstein survivors, many of whom had never publicly shared their stories. The U.S. House Oversight Committee has released over 33,000 pages of heavily classified documents, including flight logs and court filings.

Despite the release, Democrats argue that the documents provide little new information, particularly lacking the alleged “client list” that the FBI maintains does not exist.

As the debate continues, UNILAD has reached out to the White House and the FBI for comments on these unfolding events. The implications of Johnson’s claims and the ongoing scrutiny of Epstein’s case are likely to resonate in political circles for some time.
