Blues Dominate Queensland in State of Origin Game 2: A Historic Victory

The NSW Blues have made State of Origin history with a dominant performance against Queensland in Game 2 on Wednesday night. The Blues took a commanding 38-12 lead against the Maroons in Melbourne, with a halftime score of 34-0, the biggest halftime lead in Origin history.

Blues legends Andrew Johns and Phil Gould were in awe of the performance, with Johns declaring, “I’ve never seen anything like this at this level” and Gould stating it was “men against boys”.

New-look Blues halves pairing Jarome Luai and Mitchell Moses were instrumental in the victory, with Moses recording four try assists in the game. The Blues showcased their attacking prowess with tries from Liam Martin, Brian To’o, Latrell Mitchell, Zac Lomax, Angus Crichton, and Dylan Edwards.

Despite Queensland posting their first points of the game in the second half, the Blues quickly shut down any chance of a comeback with another try from Edwards, securing a convincing win.

The game also saw some heated moments, with players from both teams being sent to the sin bin for foul play. Overall, it was a memorable and record-breaking performance from the NSW Blues, solidifying their dominance in State of Origin.
