As the high school football postseason kicks off, seven Whatcom County schools are set to battle for a coveted spot in the state tournament this weekend. The stakes couldn’t be higher, as each team faces a win-or-go-home scenario in this thrilling Week 10 play-in round.
Friday Night Lights
The action begins on Friday evening with Lummi Nation hosting Ocosta at 5 PM. This matchup promises to be an electrifying start to the weekend, as both teams look to make their mark.
Simultaneously, Lynden will take on Bremerton at 6 PM at Ferndale High School, while the Golden Eagles travel across the state to face Cheney at Eastern Washington University, also at 6 PM. Both games are critical for the teams’ aspirations of advancing to the state tournament.
