Chris McMillan Launches Styling Line Inspired by Iconic Haircuts

If you’ve ever walked into a salon with a picture of Jennifer Aniston’s iconic “The Rachel,” you owe a debt of gratitude to celebrity stylist Chris McMillan. Since debuting the choppy shag on Friends in 1995, McMillan has shaped not just hairstyles but also cultural trends, with his cuts still inspiring clients today. Recent stars like Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber have even turned to modern interpretations of McMillan’s classic styles, proving that his influence spans generations.

This spring, McMillan’s talent for creating trendsetting haircuts was once again on display with the introduction of the “Cnty Little Bob” (CLB) for actress Leslie Bibb in The White Lotus*. The look quickly gained traction among fans, prompting many to embrace shorter styles. Yet, despite his success, McMillan often finds himself answering a common question at the salon: “How do I get this look at home?”

To address this, McMillan is launching a namesake line of styling products designed to help everyone achieve their own version of his signature polished yet effortless looks. The initial collection features seven user-friendly stylers, including The Glassy Smooth Blowdry Spray, The Major Hairspray, and The Dry Texture Spray, all aimed at creating that coveted tousled finish reminiscent of Aniston’s long-standing style.

Set to launch on August 12 at chrismcmillan.com and sephora.com, with in-store availability at Sephora starting August 18, the collection promises to be a game-changer for hair enthusiasts. Early birds with the Sephora app can snag an exclusive The Classics Styling Kit on August 11.

“I hope my products are the solution to everyone having a good hair day, because everyone deserves good hair,” McMillan stated in the press release for his line.

The products are crafted with buildable and layerable formulas that won’t weigh hair down, featuring HS3, a proprietary complex that protects hair up to 450°F while adding strength and shine. Scent is also a key focus, with each product infused with one of three elevated fragrances: White Tee, Copper Skies, and Tomboy—steering clear of overpowering synthetic floral notes.

As anticipation builds for the official launch, fans can look forward to an in-depth exploration of McMillan’s hair styling collection, promising to bring salon-quality results right into their homes. Stay tuned for what could be the next big thing in hair care!
