E3 Lithium Begins Drilling Phase 2 of Demonstration Facility in Alberta

CALGARY, Alberta – October 29, 2025 – E3 Lithium Ltd. (TSXV: ETL) has officially commenced drilling at its lithium development well, marking a significant milestone in Phase 2 of its Demonstration Facility in central Alberta. This initiative follows the successful production of battery-grade lithium carbonate achieved during Phase 1 earlier this month.

The new well, the third drilled into the Leduc Formation, aims to gather crucial data that will inform the design of E3 Lithium’s upcoming commercial facility. The company’s innovative Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology has already shown promise, and the results from this drilling phase will enhance understanding of reservoir performance and support engineering efforts.

Key Objectives of Phase 2:

  1. Geological Validation: Detailed analysis of core samples will help validate subsurface geology.
  2. Reservoir Data Collection: Essential data will be gathered to guide commercial wellfield and facility design.
  3. Brine Supply: The well will provide brine necessary for ongoing operations of the DLE and processing equipment.
  4. Engineering Support: Data will assist in the engineering and permitting processes for the commercial facility.

Chris Doornbos, President and CEO of E3 Lithium, expressed enthusiasm about the drilling activities, stating, “This well kicks off the second phase of our Demonstration program, another important step forward as we advance toward commercial operations. Our drilling activities provide important data to inform our continued project design and enhance our understanding of reservoir performance capabilities.”

Drilling and testing operations are expected to continue into November, with E3 Lithium committed to providing updates on their progress.
