AESMED Launches 1111 Hair Care Day Campaign at Cosmoprof Asia Hong Kong 2025
AESMED to Spotlight 1111 Hair Care Day Campaign at Cosmoprof Asia Hong Kong 2025
SEOUL, South Korea, Oct. 28, 2025 — AESMED Co., Ltd., a frontrunner in hair loss treatment, is gearing up to showcase its impactful 1111 Hair Care Day campaign at Cosmoprof Asia Hong Kong 2025, the premier B2B beauty trade fair in Asia, scheduled for November 12-14 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. This event serves as a vital platform for beauty industry leaders to unveil cutting-edge technologies and innovations.
The 1111 Hair Care Day campaign, launched in 2020, aims to raise awareness about hair loss and empower those affected. The campaign’s name reflects a transformative journey from “1011,” symbolizing lost hair strands, to “1111,” representing a full head of hair. Each year, from October 11 to November 11, the campaign designates this period as “Hair Care Season,” culminating in “Hair Care Day” on November 11.
As the campaign enters its sixth year, it has garnered support from leading hair loss clinics in South Korea and international partners from countries including China, Japan, Malaysia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan.
AESMED has been at the forefront of the Korean hair loss treatment market for over two decades. In 2012, the company pioneered alopecia cytokines therapy, a groundbreaking treatment that analyzes the cytokines responsible for hair loss and promotes hair growth. This innovative approach has been embraced by clinics worldwide, transcending ethnic and religious boundaries.
Despite advancements in hair loss treatment technologies, social awareness remains limited. A recent study from the Biomedical Research Institute of Inha University Hospital revealed that female hair loss patients experience heightened levels of depression and anxiety, with their quality of life deteriorating alongside the severity of their condition. Many face emotional distress, social withdrawal, and escalating medical costs.
AESMED’s 1111 Hair Care Day campaign emphasizes that hair loss is a significant social issue impacting overall well-being. By dedicating November 11 to this cause, the campaign seeks to foster public empathy and understanding of hair loss as a critical health concern.
Looking ahead, AESMED plans to leverage the upcoming 2026 World Congress for Hair Research in Seoul to broaden the campaign’s global outreach.
CEO Jeongwoo Yi expressed his vision for the campaign, stating, “Any commemorative day must not be driven by commercial interests but should carry public value. It should serve as the thread and needle that unites scattered efforts. I hope to one day witness a global web seminar on hair loss, with participation from the entire industry and academia, held on November 11.”
