In a powerful public service announcement, several women who survived abuse at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein are calling on Congress to release all files related to the accused sex trafficker. The video, produced by World Without Exploitation, aims to galvanize public support ahead of a crucial House vote scheduled for Tuesday.

“It’s a call to action,” said Danielle Bensky, one of the survivors, during an interview with NBC News. “While we are Epstein and [Ghislaine] Maxwell survivors, we are standing for so many victims of sexual assault and domestic violence, as well.”

The PSA encourages viewers to send automated letters of support to their congressional leaders, emphasizing the importance of advocacy in the fight against sexual violence. Bensky noted that many people feel compelled to help but often don’t know how. “We really want to tell people that you can get out there and you can do this for yourself and be a part of what’s starting to really feel like a movement,” she said.

The video features women holding photographs of themselves at the ages they first encountered Epstein, a financier known for his connections to the elite. “There’s about a thousand of us,” one woman states in the video. “It’s time to bring the secrets out of the shadows.”

Annie Farmer, another survivor whose sister, Maria Farmer, was the first to file a criminal complaint against Epstein in 1996, stressed that the release of these files transcends political lines. “Please remember that these are crimes that were committed against real humans, real individuals. This is not a political issue,” she said. “So many things have happened over the decades that were law enforcement failures in this case.”

Bensky, who was just 17 when Epstein abused her in 2004, echoed this sentiment, stating, “When you look at how long this has spanned, we have to do something about it. And it really is not political. It’s never been political for us.”

Both women recently expressed gratitude to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., for her support in the effort to release the Epstein files, marking a notable departure from party lines. They hope that recent disclosures from the House Oversight and Reform Committee signal a new era of transparency regarding Epstein’s extensive network.

“I think it’s the type of misogyny and classism that people were really disturbed by,” Farmer remarked, reflecting on the tone of emails released last week. “It was actually nice to see other people looking into that world and being disgusted by it.”

Epstein, who died by suicide in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges, left behind a legacy of pain and unanswered questions. His accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, was convicted in 2022 on similar charges and is reportedly seeking to have her prison sentence commuted.

While the Epstein case has become a political flashpoint, survivors like Bensky and Farmer are determined to keep the focus on the victims. “This is not partisan. We’re asking for you to stand with us now to release all of the files,” Farmer urged.

As the House prepares for its vote, the voices of these survivors resonate louder than ever, demanding justice and accountability for the crimes that have haunted them for decades.
