Hallmark Media Expands Partnership with Netflix to Deliver Holiday Movies and New Series Content Globally

Hallmark Media and Netflix Expand Partnership, Bringing Holiday Cheer to Global Audiences

In a move that promises to delight fans of heartwarming storytelling, Hallmark Media and Netflix have announced an expanded output deal that will enhance the streaming experience for viewers in the U.S. and beyond. This new agreement builds on last year’s successful partnership, which introduced ten of Hallmark’s beloved Christmas movies to Netflix.

Jesse Wallace, Senior VP and Head of Distribution at Hallmark Media, expressed enthusiasm about the results from the initial collaboration. “We saw significant growth in both Hallmark Channel viewership and Hallmark+ engagement following the Netflix deal,” Wallace told The Hollywood Reporter. “We’re confident that this strategic windowing of our content will further fuel our linear and SVOD businesses.”

The newly expanded deal is set to bring the first two seasons of Hallmark’s popular series The Way Home to U.S. Netflix subscribers next month, with season three scheduled for February 2026 and season four following later that year. Additionally, fans can look forward to a selection of Valentine’s Day-themed movies, including An Unexpected Valentine and Love in the Clouds, which will debut in January 2026.

“Our core mission at Hallmark is to spread joy and positivity through our critically acclaimed movies and episodic content,” Wallace added. “The global reach of Netflix is unparalleled, and we are excited to expose our content to new and existing Hallmark fans. This agreement allows us to serve fans where they are while driving them to our linear channels and Hallmark+ for the latest content and our entire library.”

But the holiday spirit doesn’t stop there. Beginning in November, Hallmark’s Christmas movies will also be available to select international markets, running through January. Titles such as Haul Out the Holly and Christmas Under the Lights will spread festive cheer to audiences around the globe.

“The teams are excited to bring Hallmark content to Netflix subscribers worldwide,” Wallace said. “With our long-standing relationships with broadcasters globally, we’re thrilled to partner with Netflix to expand our international reach.”

As the holiday season approaches, this partnership is set to make Hallmark’s signature warmth and charm accessible to an even broader audience, ensuring that fans can enjoy their favorite festive films wherever they are.
