KMI Brands CEO Rachel Parsonage Steps Down After 16 Years of Leadership
In a significant leadership shift, KMI Brands, the parent company of the popular hair care line Noughty and holder of the Ted Baker London beauty license, has announced the departure of CEO Rachel Parsonage after 16 impactful years. The company confirmed her exit in a LinkedIn post, stating that Parsonage is “moving on to pursue new challenges.”
Stepping into the role of Managing Director is Lisa Stone, who has been with KMI Brands since 1999 and previously served as Chief Growth Officer. Stone’s extensive experience within the company positions her well to lead the brand into its next chapter.
During her tenure, Parsonage was instrumental in expanding the KMI team from 15 to 40 employees and doubling sales from £11 million to over £21 million. She played a pivotal role in the launch and growth of Noughty, a brand that has resonated with consumers seeking effective and environmentally conscious hair care solutions.
Herbie Dayal, Chairman of KMI Brands, expressed gratitude for Parsonage’s contributions, stating, “Rachel has made a significant contribution to KMI Brands during her tenure, first as MD and then as CEO. She has built a team and a culture in the company, which is the basis for KMI Brands’ success and which will endure well into the future.” He added that her positivity and charisma will be greatly missed.
In her farewell message, Parsonage reflected on her time at KMI Brands, saying, “It has been a privilege to lead KMI Brands, and I am proud of how we have grown as a team, navigated challenges that at times felt daunting, and built a culture that has become the true hallmark of KMI.” She emphasized the importance of respect, kindness, and environmental responsibility in the company’s ethos.
