Lush Celebrates 30 Years with New HairLab Opening in Poole
Poole, UK – In a vibrant celebration of its 30th anniversary, Lush has announced the grand opening of its second standalone hair salon, Lush HairLab, located beneath the brand’s head office on The Quay. This new venture not only marks a significant milestone for the beloved cosmetics company but also brings its innovative hair care services back to its roots, as Poole is where Lush was originally founded.
To kick off the festivities, Lush will host a free open day on Friday, October 17, from 12 PM to 7 PM. Attendees can look forward to an exciting lineup of activities, including live hair treatment demonstrations, product-making sessions, and personalized hair styling consultations. Guests will also enjoy complimentary drinks and vegan nibbles, along with live music and a free goodie bag for the first 50 visitors.
Daisy Evans, Lush’s haircare category and HairLab lead, expressed her enthusiasm for the new location, stating, “Bringing the Lush HairLab to Poole feels like a real homecoming. This town is where Lush was born and where our products are still made fresh by hand just around the corner, so to now have a HairLab here feels like we’re really going back to our roots.”
The Poole HairLab promises a unique salon experience, mirroring the success of its Brighton counterpart. Committed to sustainability, the salon will utilize 100% natural hair dyes made from henna and will recycle all salon waste. Customers can expect a tranquil environment with options for no-mirror and non-talkative services, as well as quiet hours featuring ambient music and lighting.
The salon will offer a variety of services, including hair coloring, protective styles, wig maintenance, and specialized treatments for afro hair. Prices for haircuts will start at £85, while hair coloring services will begin at £80.
With its botanical washroom, clients can choose between hard or soft water for their hair wash, enhancing the personalized experience Lush aims to provide.
