Donald Trump Escorted Off Stage During Rally After Apparent Assassination Attempt

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign says he is “fine” after what law enforcement officials are treating as an assassination attempt during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The man who opened fire was a 20-year-old from Pennsylvania.

In a social media post, Trump said he was “shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear.” The former president was quickly whisked from the stage by Secret Service agents, his ear covered in blood.

A prosecutor said the suspected gunman and at least one attendee are dead, and the Secret Service said two spectators were critically injured.

President Joe Biden and political leaders of all stripes condemned the attack. “There’s no place in America for this type of violence,” Biden said. “It’s sick. It’s sick.”

Messages of support and wishes for a successful recovery for Trump have poured in from political leaders around the world. Leaders from the UK, Germany, France, Ukraine, Egypt, Pakistan, and Slovakia have all condemned the attack.

The FBI has named Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, as the shooter in the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. The investigation remains active and ongoing.

Trump has left Pennsylvania and landed in New Jersey, where he plans to spend the night at his private golf club. Biden has returned to the White House and will receive a briefing on the attempted assassination of Trump.

Law enforcement officials say the assailant who opened fire at the Trump rally was a 20-year-old man from Pennsylvania. The FBI says they have not identified a motive in the assassination attempt.

The shooting at the rally is being investigated as an attempted assassination of the former president. The FBI says it’s surprising the shooter was able to fire so many rounds.

Trump’s private jet has left Pennsylvania, and he is under the protection of the Secret Service and Pennsylvania State Police. Biden has spoken with Trump and is monitoring the situation closely.

The incident at the rally has sparked condemnations of political violence from leaders around the world. Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., says his father is in great spirits and will continue to fight for America.

The Secret Service says one spectator was killed, and two were critically injured after the attacker fired multiple shots at the Trump rally. The shooter was killed by agents.

Trump says he is “fine” and is being checked at a medical facility. The incident has shocked the nation and prompted calls for unity and civility in politics.
