Patanjali Foods Reduces Retail Prices Across Product Range Following GST Cuts

Patanjali Foods Slashes Prices on Nutrela and More Following GST Reduction

New Delhi: In a move aimed at benefiting consumers, Patanjali Foods Ltd has announced a reduction in the maximum retail prices (MRP) of various products, including its popular Nutrela soya chunks. The price cuts, effective from Monday, are a direct response to the recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) rationalization.

The company revealed the decision in a statement on Sunday, highlighting that the revised prices will apply across its extensive range of food and non-food products. This initiative underscores Patanjali’s commitment to providing value-driven consumer goods.

Among the notable changes, Nutrela Chunks, Mini Chunks, and Granules (1 kg pack) will now retail at Rs 190, down from Rs 210. Additionally, the 200 gm pack will see a reduction of Rs 3.

In the biscuits and cookies category, the MRP for Doodh Biscuit (35g) has been lowered to Rs 4.5 from Rs 5. Meanwhile, Patanjali Twisty Tasty Noodles (50g) will now be priced at Rs 9.35, down from Rs 10.

The price cuts extend beyond food items. In the oral care segment, Dant Kanti Natural Toothpaste (200g) will now cost Rs 106, reduced from Rs 120. Similarly, Kesh Kanti Amla Hair Oil (100ml) will be available for Rs 42, down from Rs 48.

Health and wellness products are also seeing price adjustments, with Amla Juice (1000 ml) now priced at Rs 140, down from Rs 150. Additionally, a 1 kg pack of Special Chyawanprash will retail for Rs 337, reduced from Rs 360. In the dairy category, cow’s ghee (900 ml) will now be available for Rs 732, down from Rs 780.

“This broad-based MRP revision reinforces Patanjali Foods Limited’s position as India’s leading provider of natural, value-driven consumer products,” the company stated.

As one of the foremost FMCG companies in India, Patanjali Foods holds a significant market share in cooking oils, marketed under the Ruchi Soya brand. With these new price reductions, the company aims to enhance its appeal to cost-conscious consumers while maintaining its commitment to quality and natural ingredients.
