During a special media preview, Woody Wang, Deputy Executive Director of TAITRA, emphasized the significance of this year’s expo. “This event marks a major milestone in our efforts to reconnect with the Philippine market, aligning with local government policies and emerging consumer trends,” he stated. The exhibition will revolve around five key themes: Green & Sustainability, Agritech & Aquatech, Health & Wellness, Smart Technologies, and Intelligent Lifestyle, showcasing over 140 leading Taiwanese companies.
The product highlights at the preview illustrated Taiwan’s diverse technological advancements. Notable innovations included a Bluetooth Soil Nutrition Meter from MIC Meter Industrial Co., Ltd., and an intelligent person tracking solution from AIRA Corporation. In the Health & Wellness sector, ASUS unveiled ICT-based smart medical applications, while hiPower Hydrogen Technology Co., Ltd. showcased cutting-edge renewable hydrogen energy solutions under the Green & Sustainability theme. Additionally, premium hair care products from Shaan Honq Int’l Cosmetics Corp. were featured under the Intelligent Lifestyle category.
Dustin Teng-Shi Yang, Minister of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines (TECO), remarked on the synergy between Taiwan and the Philippines. “Taiwan’s advanced technology and well-established manufacturing capabilities perfectly complement the Philippines’ rapidly expanding market and youthful demographic dividend, unlocking vast potential for collaboration,” he noted.
As stakeholders eagerly anticipate the expo, it is expected to serve as a robust platform for bilateral business exchanges, deepening cooperation in technology, sustainable development, and healthcare.
