Mumbai Shines at Streax Professional Hairstyle Icon 2025 Finale
Mumbai, Maharashtra – In a dazzling celebration of creativity and talent, Streax Professional, one of India’s premier hair colour brands, hosted the grand finale of the Streax Professional Hairstyle Icon 2025 in collaboration with OMG Face of the Year. The event, held on July 31st, brought together the nation’s top hairstylists and aspiring models for an electrifying showcase of artistry and transformation.
This year marked a significant milestone for Streax Professional, as it intensified its commitment to empowering salon professionals by placing hairstylists at the forefront of the beauty industry. Following rigorous knockout rounds and grooming sessions, ten finalists emerged to compete for the coveted title of Hairstyle Icon of the Year.
The winners were:
- Winner: Priyanka Sinha from Hooghly, West Bengal
- 1st Runner-up: Bhaskar Jyoti from Guwahati, Assam
- 2nd Runner-up: Durmit Garge from Vadodara, Gujarat
Priyanka Sinha took home a cash prize of ₹3 lakhs, along with exclusive workshops with industry experts and a photoshoot with renowned fashion photographer Dabboo Ratnani. The runners-up received ₹75,000 and ₹25,000, respectively.
The finale was judged by a distinguished panel, including Rochelle Chhabra, Head of Streax Professional; Shirin Merchant, Technical Ambassador; Kannagi Desai, Beauty Editor at Elle India; Sini Shetty, Femina Miss India 2022; and Rohit Khandelwal, Mister World 2016. The finalists showcased their skills through curated mood boards and live model makeovers, culminating in a high-energy runway presentation.

To further commemorate this journey, the entire contest will be released as a 6-episode web series on Hungama OTT, starting the first week of September 2025. The series will provide an insider’s view of the creative transformations, jury insights, and the evolution of each finalist.
