Ströer SE & Co. KGaA Adjusts Financial Outlook for 2025 Amid Geopolitical Uncertainties
Cologne, September 18, 2025 — In a significant update for investors and stakeholders, Ströer SE & Co. KGaA has revised its financial outlook for the fiscal year 2025. The company announced today that it now expects revenue and adjusted EBITDA to remain on par with 2024 figures, citing ongoing geopolitical and macroeconomic challenges that have impacted the advertising market.
Initially, Ströer had confirmed its 2025 forecast during the publication of its second-quarter interim report, projecting organic revenue growth similar to the 6.4% increase seen in 2024. However, the Board of Management emphasized that this optimistic outlook was contingent on a timely resolution of the ongoing tariff disputes with the United States.
As the year progresses, the Board has reassessed the situation, concluding that the uncertainties surrounding global markets necessitate a more cautious approach. The revised projections now indicate that Ströer anticipates achieving revenue of approximately EUR 2,047 million and an adjusted EBITDA of EUR 626 million—levels consistent with the previous year.
Despite these challenges, Ströer remains optimistic about its long-term growth trajectory. The company is committed to expanding its market share in the German advertising sector and is poised to benefit from the ongoing digitalization of out-of-home (OOH) advertising infrastructure.
“The advertising landscape is evolving, and while we face headwinds in the short term, we are confident in our ability to adapt and thrive,” said a spokesperson from Ströer. “Our focus on sustainable and profitable growth in our core business remains steadfast.”
As Ströer navigates these turbulent waters, investors will be keenly watching how the company manages its operations and capitalizes on emerging opportunities in the digital advertising space.
