Buffalo’s Historic Lenox Hotel Set for Exciting Transformations

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – The Lenox Hotel, Buffalo’s longest continuously operated hotel, is gearing up for a significant transformation that promises to breathe new life into its historic walls. The hotel plans to convert its shuttered Lenox Grill restaurant and bar into a modern spa and yoga studio, with renovations expected to commence next year.

In addition to this exciting new venture, the Lenox Hotel will also be upgrading its guest accommodations with new furniture and enhancements to its rooms in January and February. Once home to 158 hotel rooms and the popular eighth-floor Skyview Room restaurant, the Lenox has evolved over the years, now featuring 116 market-rate apartments alongside 23 available hotel rooms.

As the hotel adapts to changing demands, these updates signal a commitment to providing a rejuvenating experience for both guests and residents alike.

Park School of Buffalo Launches Final Phase of Ambitious Campaign

In other news, the Park School of Buffalo, a cornerstone of the community since 1912, has announced the public launch of the third and final phase of its Power of Park campaign. This comprehensive investment project, which began in 2022, aims to raise over $15 million to enhance the school’s endowment, expand facilities, and support its long-term strategic plan.

Having successfully completed the first two phases, which included significant improvements to campus facilities and security upgrades, the school is now poised to reinforce its commitment to delivering high-quality college preparatory education. Notably, Park has received the two largest gifts in its history to kick off this final phase, showcasing the community’s dedication to its educational mission.
