Effingham County Chamber Opens Nominations for 2026 Excellence in Business Awards

The Effingham County Chamber is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the highly anticipated 2026 Excellence in Business Awards. This prestigious event aims to honor local businesses that exemplify outstanding leadership, innovation, and a commitment to community impact throughout Effingham County.

Eligible nominees include a diverse range of Chamber-member businesses, including private and public entities, non-profits, associations, vendors, and government organizations. To qualify, nominees must meet several key criteria:

• Demonstrated growth in revenue and job creation.
• Adoption of sound or innovative business practices.
• Active community service and civic involvement.
• Commitment to employee development and a collaborative spirit.
• Excellent customer service and a significant contribution to the area’s economic health.

It’s important to note that past winners of the Excellence in Business Awards are not eligible for nomination.

Interested individuals and organizations can submit nominations through the Chamber’s online form at EffinghamCountyChamber.com/nominate-a-business/. Self-nominations are encouraged, and each nomination requires a separate form.

Key Dates:

• Nomination Deadline: Friday, December 5, by 5 PM
• Award Presentation: Winners will be celebrated at the Chamber’s Annual Gala on Saturday, January 17, 2026.
