Early Morning Theft at Ripley One Stop: Public Assistance Requested

LITTLE FALLS — The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the community’s help following a brazen theft at the Ripley One Stop convenience store early Thursday morning.

Deputies responded to the store, located at 21586 Grouse Road, shortly after midnight, at 12:33 a.m., after an alarm was triggered. Upon arrival, they discovered a window had been forcibly removed from the east side of the building, indicating a break-in. Inside, staff pointed out several vape canisters that appeared to be out of place, suggesting that the suspects had made off with merchandise.

Witnesses reported seeing individuals on bicycles, dressed in dark clothing and masks, fleeing the scene. A Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit was deployed and successfully tracked the suspects south of the business, navigating through yards and down gravel roads between Grouse Road and Ginger Road.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area during the early morning hours to come forward. Residents with surveillance cameras are encouraged to review their footage and report any relevant information to the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office at 320-632-9233.

As the investigation continues, the Sheriff’s Office emphasizes the importance of community vigilance in keeping local businesses safe. Your tips could be crucial in apprehending those responsible for this crime.
