Celebrating Excellence: Highlights from the 2025 CEW Beauty Awards

CEW Beauty Awards 2025: Celebrating Innovation and Creativity in the Beauty Industry

New York City, NY — The 2025 CEW Beauty Awards kicked off on Wednesday with a poignant message from Carlotta Jacobson, the long-standing president of the Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) organization. As she prepares to transition to the role of executive chair in January, Jacobson reflected on the awards’ mission: to honor not just the products but the talented individuals and creative minds behind them.

“The idea for the awards was simple, and still relevant today: to recognize the best of you — not just the products — but the people, the creatives and the work behind them,” Jacobson shared with an emotional audience at the New York Hilton Midtown hotel. This year marks her final appearance as president, a role she has held since 1999.

The ceremony, hosted by comedian and actress Lynne Koplitz, celebrated the innovators propelling the beauty industry forward. Among the notable winners were Danessa Myricks and Mario Dedivanovic, whose brands tied for the Indie Makeup/Skin Care Product award. Myricks expressed her pride in her work, stating, “Our [Lightwork VI Freedom Palette] was such a labor of love; we want people to feel free living in their own skin, and this palette translates that into a product.”
