Dyson Unveils the PencilVac: A Slimmer, Smarter Cleaning Solution
September 5, 2025 – Dyson is making waves in the cleaning industry with the launch of its latest innovation, the Dyson PencilVac, touted as the company’s slimmest vacuum cleaner to date. This sleek new model is powered by Dyson’s compact Hyperdymium motor, which spins at an impressive 140,000 RPM while measuring just 28mm in diameter, promising both power and efficiency in a streamlined design.
At just 38mm wide, the PencilVac is designed to glide effortlessly across floors, clean sideways, and reach under low furniture, making it an ideal choice for modern homes. Despite its slim profile, it boasts fade-free suction, app connectivity, and dual green light illumination to reveal hidden dust. The innovative dust separation system compresses debris, allowing the 0.08L bin to hold up to five times more dirt than traditional models. Additionally, the hygienic syringe-style ejection system empties the bin while simultaneously wiping the shroud clean, ensuring a mess-free experience.
The PencilVac also features a conical brush bar design with four counter-rotating brush bars powered by dual motors, effectively removing hair and threads for a thorough clean right up to the edges.

It features a triggerless power button and three cleaning modes, remaining compatible with existing V8 attachments. A self-emptying dock will be available starting in 2026.
Dyson V16 Piston Animal
At the higher end, the V16 Piston Animal boasts a powerful 900W Hyperdymium motor that delivers 315 air watts of suction. It includes dynamic cyclones for boosted power, anti-tangle conical brush bars, and a CleanCompaktor bin capable of holding up to 30 days of dust. This model also supports wet and dry cleaning with an upgraded Submarine 2.0 wet roller head.
Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene
This lightweight 3.7kg wet and dry cleaner offers hygienic floor cleaning without filters. It keeps dirt and water enclosed in the cleaner head, preventing clogging and odors, while a dense microfibre roller embedded with nylon bristles lifts stains for streak-free floors.
Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai Robot
Expanding its robotic range, the Spot+Scrub Ai vacuum features AI-based stain detection and adaptive navigation, recognizing around 200 objects to avoid during cleaning. It continuously checks and re-cleans stains until they are removed, complete with a self-cleaning roller.
Dyson HushJet Purifier Compact
In air purification, the HushJet Purifier Compact operates at just 24 dB in sleep mode, making it quieter than conventional models while maintaining strong purification capacity.
Hair Styling Innovations
In hair care, Dyson has introduced the Supersonic r hair dryer and the Airwrap Co-anda 2x multi-styler, both featuring a more powerful motor for faster drying and styling.
