My Simple Hair Routine: How I Fixed My Crispy Ends with Drugstore Products as a Lazy Woman

“Red-Headed Woman Shares Low-Effort Haircare Routine to Revitalize Ruined Ends”

A RED-HEADED woman has shared the low-effort haircare routine that revitalized her ruined ends. She fixed her “crispy and gross” tresses with budget beauty buys.

Reddit user ManyLintRollers, a self-described “lazy” woman, shared her simple haircare routine that transformed her damaged ends from years of heat styling and coloring. At 55 years old, she decided to embrace her natural red hair and let it go gray after years of dyeing to cover grays.

After growing out her natural color for two years, she described her hair as fine and textured, with ends that were “crispy and gross.” Determined to grow her hair long, she ditched heat styling and coloring and opted for a simple routine.

Her three go-to products include L’Oréal Elvive Dream Lengths Restoring Shampoo and Super Detangling Conditioner, used twice a week, and L’Oréal Elvive No More Haircuts Leave-in Conditioner applied from the ears down. She avoids heat styling and lets her hair air dry.

For nighttime care, she uses coconut oil on dry ends, detangles with a wooden wide-tooth comb, and brushes with a boar bristle brush. Despite the common practice of using silk or satin pillowcases, she opts for loose braids or a bun to protect her hair from tangling.

With a diet rich in protein and unprocessed foods, ManyLintRollers has successfully revived her hair with a low-maintenance routine and affordable products. Her story serves as inspiration for those looking to improve the health of their hair without breaking the bank.
