Three Jolly Coachmen’s Coffee House Concert Raises $6,700 for Comfort Zone Camp

WILLIAMSBURG, VA — The Three Jolly Coachmen’s Coffee House hosted a heartwarming concert on July 11, resulting in an impressive $6,700 in donations for Comfort Zone Camp (CZC), a Richmond-based organization dedicated to supporting children who have lost a parent or significant caregiver.

Since its launch in September 2022, the concert series has made a significant impact by partnering with local charities, donating a portion of ticket sales and 100% of drink proceeds. This latest event saw the Coffee House present a check for $1,600 to CZC, alongside an additional $5,100 raised from generous concertgoers inspired by the organization’s mission.

“Every dollar counts, and we are incredibly grateful for the support from our community,” said Kim Dilday, a member of Comfort Zone Camp’s Williamsburg Regional Advisory Committee. “These funds will help us provide essential programs for children navigating their grief.”

To date, the Three Jolly Coachmen’s Coffee House has contributed a remarkable total of $23,000 to various Williamsburg-area charities, showcasing the power of community engagement through music and philanthropy.

Looking ahead, the Coffee House will kick off its fourth season on Friday, September 12, featuring a performance by the Three Jolly Coachmen. Tickets can be reserved by emailing TJCCoffeeHouse@gmail.com.
