Patanjali Foods Announces Price Cuts: Nutrela Soya Chunks Now Rs 20 Cheaper per Kg

Patanjali Foods Slashes Prices on Nutrela Products, Passes GST Savings to Consumers

New Delhi: In a move aimed at benefiting consumers, Patanjali Foods Ltd has announced a significant reduction in the maximum retail prices (MRP) of various products, including its popular Nutrela soya chunks. Starting Monday, Nutrela chunks, mini chunks, and granules will be available at Rs 190 per kilogram, down from Rs 210. Additionally, the 200-gram pack will see a price drop of Rs 3.

This price cut is part of a broader strategy to align with the recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) rationalization, as stated by the company in a press release on Sunday. The revised pricing will affect a wide range of both food and non-food items across Patanjali’s extensive product portfolio.

Among the notable changes, the MRP of Doodh Biscuit (35g) has been reduced from Rs 5 to Rs 4.5, while Patanjali’s Twisty Tasty Noodles (50g) will now retail at Rs 9.35, down from Rs 10. The company has also lowered prices in its oral and hair care segments, with Dant Kanti Natural Toothpaste (200g) now priced at Rs 106, a reduction from Rs 120, and Kesh Kanti Amla Hair Oil (100ml) dropping to Rs 42 from Rs 48.

In the health and wellness category, Amla Juice (1000 ml) will be available for Rs 140, down from Rs 150, and a 1 kg pack of Special Chyawanprash will now cost Rs 337 instead of Rs 360. Dairy lovers will also benefit, as the price of cow’s ghee (900 ml) has been slashed to Rs 732 from Rs 780.

“This broad-based MRP revision reinforces Patanjali Foods Limited’s commitment to providing natural, value-driven consumer products,” the company stated, emphasizing its position as a leading player in India’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

Patanjali Foods, known for its extensive range of natural products, has a significant market share in cooking oils under the Ruchi Soya brand. With these price cuts, the company aims to enhance its appeal to cost-conscious consumers while maintaining its reputation for quality.

As the new prices take effect, consumers can look forward to more affordable options in their daily shopping, reflecting Patanjali’s ongoing efforts to support the community through accessible pricing.
