Revitalizing Ingleside: The Grand Opening of The Austin Business Hub
Ingleside Welcomes New Business Hub with Grand Opening of The Austin
Ingleside, TX – November 5, 2023 – The quaint charm of Ingleside has taken a vibrant turn with the grand opening of The Austin, a newly renovated business hub that promises to breathe new life into the community. Ryne Austin, the visionary behind this transformation, originally envisioned a simple bed & breakfast when he purchased the historic Ingleside train station hotel over two years ago. However, the building at 2761 W. Main St. has blossomed into a bustling center for local entrepreneurs.
The grand opening event drew dozens of community members, all eager to explore the seven new businesses now calling The Austin home. Austin expressed his immense relief and gratitude as he watched the community come together to celebrate the fruition of his hard work. “It’s phenomenal to see this come to fruition,” he said, reflecting on the two-and-a-half-year journey filled with challenges and triumphs.
Initially, Austin aimed to lease the building to a single business. However, a pivotal phone call from a prospective tenant sparked a chain reaction, leading him to pivot towards creating an office-style space that could accommodate multiple businesses. The result is a one-stop beauty shop that offers a variety of services to residents of Ingleside and surrounding areas.
Among the tenants is Jessica Whitney, a proud Ingleside native and owner of Salvatus Aesthetics, a medical-grade skincare shop. Whitney, who launched her business during the pandemic in 2020, is thrilled to serve her hometown. “It makes it that much more special,” she said, highlighting the beauty of the renovated space and the faith-based community of business owners. “Every tenant here happens to be a Christian. We all love the Lord here, so it’s beautiful.”
The Austin features a range of services, including massages, skincare treatments, haircuts, and more, all aimed at fostering a supportive environment for small businesses. Austin emphasized the importance of collaboration among the tenants, many of whom are just starting their entrepreneurial journeys. “We’re just putting our feet on the ground and we’re all working together to pull this off,” he noted.
As the community continues to embrace The Austin, it stands as a testament to resilience and innovation, breathing new life into a historic building while providing essential services to residents. For those interested in exploring what The Austin has to offer, the building is conveniently located next to Blackbeards at 2761 W. Main St.
With the grand opening now behind them, Austin and his tenants are excited to embark on this new chapter, committed to serving the community and fostering a thriving business environment in Ingleside.
