Transforming Hair Care: The Journey of MyHair AI

Startup MyHair AI Tackles Hair Loss with Innovative Technology

New York, NY – Ciriak Lefort, a 32-year-old entrepreneur, is on a mission to revolutionize the hair care industry with his new startup, MyHair AI. The idea for the company was sparked two years ago during a routine haircut in a New York barbershop when a barber casually remarked, “You’re starting to lose a little hair.”

“I didn’t think I was balding, and I still don’t,” Lefort recalls. “But when someone tells you that, you buy everything they recommend.” This moment led him to realize the emotional weight of hair loss for both men and women, and the myriad of myths surrounding it.

Determined to bring clarity to the tangled world of hair care, Lefort teamed up with 28-year-old Tilen Babnyk to create MyHair AI. The duo quickly developed an app that uses artificial intelligence to help users diagnose their hair conditions. Users can upload data about their hair, and the AI analyzes it to measure hair density and detect early signs of hair loss.

As users continue to input data, the AI tracks changes over time, allowing for personalized hair protection plans. The platform also connects users with specialists and clinics, providing verified reviews to help avoid scams.

Since its launch this summer, MyHair AI has gained significant traction, boasting over 1,000 paid subscribers and 200,000 accounts. The app’s ability to analyze a wealth of data, combined with partnerships with clinics, enables specialists to assess patients more accurately.

“Our artificial intelligence tells you what is really happening with your hair, selects products that truly make sense for your hair type, and explains the scientific basis, including possible side effects,” Lefort explains.

The startup aims to bring transparency and medical accuracy to a market often clouded by misinformation. “With this approach, we believe we can completely rethink how people understand, treat, and buy hair health products,” he adds.

A New Era in Hair Care

After a year of ideation and development, MyHair AI is changing the narrative around hair care from mere aesthetics to informed health decisions. Lefort emphasizes that men often worry about two primary health issues: sexual dysfunction and hair loss. “We are solving one of the biggest daily problems,” he states.

The app’s innovative vibe-coding process allowed the team to prototype quickly without hiring additional staff, showcasing how startups can grow rapidly in today’s tech landscape. Now, as the product evolves, engineers are refining the code to ensure robustness and scalability.

Looking ahead, Lefort envisions a future where hair care services are more personalized and transparent. Daily user data will shape recommendations, providing faster access to clinics while minimizing risks.

As MyHair AI continues to grow, it stands as a testament to the power of technology in addressing deeply personal issues, offering hope and solutions to those grappling with hair loss.
