Beth Corey: A Journey Through Marketing and Community Engagement
Beth Corey developed a love of marketing working as social media manager at The Artistic Bean in Fort Smith. She worked there from 2016 to 2018.
She started her first full-time marketing position in 2018 as a social media specialist at Martin’s Heating & Air.
The Natural Dam native spent about seven years in the heating and air industry, including at Atchley Air and Bud Anderson, both of which were acquired by Southern Air.
As its regional marketing manager, she oversaw marketing for 14 locations in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi and led multistate campaigns. She was also involved in sports sponsorships, including with the Arkansas Razorbacks, LSU, Texas A&M, and the University of Oklahoma. She then became a sports marketing manager.
In 2022, Corey started marketing agency Lavender Marketing, and through it, she connected with Joseph Rupe, owner of Horizon Roofing, Solar and Exteriors. She was recruited to join the company full time. Within a year, she revitalized the company’s brand, expanded its reach and developed community partnerships. She acquired equity partnership in the company on Jan. 1, adding managing member to her title. Corey is also marketing manager for Jody’s Auto Service Centers, which Rupe also owns.
Before joining Horizon, she published “Somewhere Over The River,” a newsprint publication covering Crawford County history and events that she delivered to area restaurants and coffee shops. As a single mother and transitioning to a full-time job at Horizon, this became too time-consuming to continue.
“I’m where I’m at in my career that I would like to be, and I get to spend a little bit more time with my kids,” she said.
Active in her church, Corey supports Shine Outreach and youth sports. She enjoys watching sports, reading and the outdoors.
