Al Zorah Golf Club Announces Inaugural Al Zorah City Pro-Am Event

Al Zorah Golf Club to Host Inaugural City Pro-Am Tournament in 2025

Al Zorah Golf Club in Ajman is set to host the first-ever Al Zorah City Pro-Am tournament from February 3-6, 2025. The event, sponsored by Al Zorah City, will bring together teams of four – three amateurs and one professional from across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia to compete on the Nicklaus Design course.

Participants will not only have the opportunity to play three rounds on the acclaimed par-72 layout but also enjoy the luxurious lifestyle facilities at Al Zorah, including a welcome reception and gala dinner at the new clubhouse set to open this autumn. The clubhouse will feature a pro shop, gym, changing facilities, swimming pool, and various dining options.

In addition to the golf tournament, players will have the chance to experience ‘Quest for Adventure’ at the Al Zorah Natural Reserve, offering water activities around the mangrove forest. The event is sanctioned by the Confederation of Professional Golf and will be part of the CPG International Series for the 2024/25 season.

Philip Henderson, general manager of Al Zorah Golf Club, expressed excitement about the upcoming tournament, stating, “Next year will mark the tenth anniversary of the opening of our course, and it’s fitting to mark the occasion with a tournament that will showcase the many delights of our region.”

With packages starting at AED 7,910pp for five nights, the Al Zorah City Pro-Am promises to be a memorable experience for both professionals and amateurs alike. The event is expected to become a staple in the golfing calendar in the Middle East for years to come.
