Peace Flower Creations: A Salon Where Self-Care Meets Community Spirit

By Jenna Kaplan

Pawtucket, RI – What if your next hair appointment felt less like a chore and more like a nurturing escape? That’s the vision behind Peace Flower Creations Hair Designs, a unique salon founded by Allie Boyer, which is set to celebrate its first anniversary on November 11. Nestled at 192 Newport Avenue, this vibrant salon has quickly become a beloved fixture in the community, blending beauty with compassion and creativity.

Before embarking on her salon journey, Boyer dedicated two decades to early childhood and special education. After earning her cosmetology license in 2006, she seamlessly merged her artistic flair with a profound sense of empathy. The result? A warm, inclusive environment where clients can unwind and feel genuinely valued—an inviting alternative to the often impersonal salon experience.

Boyer’s commitment to accessibility shines through her in-home hair care services, designed for elderly clients, those who are homebound, or anyone who prefers the comfort of their own space. She specializes in working with individuals who have sensory sensitivities, including autism, cerebral palsy, anxiety, and depression. “Some people just can’t manage a typical salon environment,” Boyer explains. “When I go to them, they can relax and still feel cared for and confident.”

Inside Peace Flower Creations, the atmosphere reflects Boyer’s mission: calm, creative, and full of heart. Clients often describe an immediate sense of comfort, whether they’re there for a simple trim or a dramatic makeover. The salon offers a range of services, from cuts and color to formal styling for weddings and special occasions, along with whimsical Fairy Hair tinsel extensions for those looking to add a touch of sparkle.

Boyer’s creativity extends beyond the salon; she is also a talented hula hoop artist with the Providence Drum Troupe. This playful energy translates into her work with children, where she performs at birthday parties, hosts hoop workshops, and adds Fairy Hair to young partygoers. “My mission is to make people feel as good as they look,” she shares. “I want everyone to feel beautiful, authentic, and loved.”

As Peace Flower Creations approaches its first anniversary, the salon continues to thrive as a sanctuary for self-care and community connection. To learn more about their services, follow Peace Flower Creations Hair Designs on Instagram or visit their Facebook page.
