Grand Opening of 3 Lakes Cafe in Cassadaga: A Story of Love, Community, and Redemption
The grand opening of 3 Lakes Cafe in Cassadaga was a heartwarming event filled with love, community support, and a commitment to giving back. The new coffee shop, owned and operated by Jacob and Abigail Landean, opened its doors at the former JoJo Asian Cafe location on South Main Street.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was a packed affair, with local dignitaries, family, and friends coming together to celebrate the Landean’s new venture. The cafe is named after the three lakes that make up Cassadaga Lakes, a nod to the community they now call home.
Abigail Landean’s passion for coffee stems from her father, Nathan Bailey, who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. In a touching gesture, the Landeans donated all the profits from their opening day to the cancer center, in honor of Nathan and others battling the disease.
The decision to open a coffee shop was a dream come true for Abigail, who had harbored the desire since her teenage years working as a lifeguard at the Cassadaga beach. Her husband, Jacob, who always wanted to own his own business, saw the opportunity to make their dream a reality near Abigail’s hometown.
The Landeans have created a menu that goes beyond just coffee, offering a variety of drinks, omelets, salads, wraps, sandwiches, and more. Their commitment to giving back extends beyond their opening day, with plans to donate proceeds from April 13 to various charities in the future.
The story of 3 Lakes Cafe is not just about a new business opening its doors, but about a family coming together to support each other, their community, and those in need. It’s a tale of love, resilience, and the power of community coming together to make a difference.
